According to the State Policy Handbook, “the PDGA shall work to increase the stature of Lionism in the state of WV.  It shall provide attendance at, and formulate all plans for the state's participation in International Conventions.”   

The PDGA also: purchases the District Governor jackets each year; awards the Dudley Simms and Richard Ruff membership Awards; makes a donation to the Sight Foundation in the memory of PDGs who pass;  decides on the parade uniforms for the International Convention; provides the funds for the reception at the State Convention for the International Director; provides the Hospitality Room at the International Convention for WV Lions at the delegate motel.

All Lions are invited to attend the banquet and meetings. However, only the Past District Governors have a vote on items on the floor.  The Fall Meeting below will have a banquet and entertainment Saturday night and the Business Meeting Sunday morning.
