5th Annual District 29-L

Lions Car & Bike Show for Sight
This year's Car & Bike Show raised over $16,000 for the WV Sight Conservation Foundation during the 2007 Labor Day Weekend.

Held each year at Cabela's near Wheeling, this event is supported by donations and assistance of many District 29-L clubs.

706 cars and 38 bikes registered for the event sponsored and hosted by Cabela's Wheeling.  
 

Annual West Virginia Ron Hensley State Golf Tournament

Each year, the White Sulphur Springs Lions Club provides the trophies for this tournament held throughout the state usually on the last Sunday of July. The event honors the memory of the late Ron Hensley who died in a car accident on his way to a Lions event.

This year, the tournament was sponsored by the Pineville and Welch Lions Clubs and held at Twin Falls State Park on July 29.  Photo: Pineville Lions Craig Cook, PID Bob Browning, and Andrew Hamm with their trophies.
