Campaign Sight IIThe purpose of the Foundation is to meet the sight and hearing needs of the citizens of West Virginia, if other aid is not available. The Sight Foundation provides services which normally cannot be provided by an individual or local club, such as: Eye and hearing restoration surgery Hearing aids and artificial eyes Visual Aids, such as opticons, computers with Braille software, large screen monitors, etc. Organ and tissue donation support The Mobile Eye Screening Units equipped with instruments to detect glaucoma and visual acuity conditions Liaison coordination with the WVU Eye Research Center in Morgantown, West Virginia Vist the Foundation website at www.wvsight.org |

Experience Opportunity
Objective To provide the youth of the world with an opportunity for development and contribution, individually and collectively, as responsible members of the local, national and international community. Leos develop skills as organizers, time managers and motivators of their peers. Leos learn the importance of cooperation through community service. Membership provides young people with a chance to excel, to develop positive character traits, and to receive recognition for their contributions to the community.
Youth Exchange
West Virgina Youth Going Abroad Any youth between the ages of 16 and 21 is eligible to apply, with the approval of a local Lions club to become involved with the exchange program. Cost involved in the program includes the cost of travel, plus desired spending money. The host family provides room and board. Grants of up to $500 are available and will be awarded on an individual basis. To become involved in the exchange program please contact one of the committee members.
